Happy Birthday America Tablescape

I LOVE the Fourth of July!
The carefree days of Summer are in full bloom and everyone seems more relaxed and ready for a great party.  We are home this year for the Fourth.  So, we will be celebrating with friends and family and viewing fireworks later.
  How about you?
 How do you celebrate?
Just for fun I put together a 4th of July table.
I bought some things last year on clearance and was eager to put them to use.

Blue and white napkins and plates from JCP.  The plates were on clearance for $2.50 a piece.  It's from their Americana line.  The table runner is an Estate Sale find for $5.00.  It's just a remnant of lightweight burlap or a similar fabric.  The white napkins were a WM clearance item at $1.00.  Popcorn holders were also at World Market.
I couldn't resist them!
And they matched my Bandanas that I picked up at an Estate Sale a few weeks ago.
Have I showed you my new red and white
 transfer dishes yet?
This is one of my most exciting finds this year!
I have been searching for red transferware for a long time.
I passed up a set at an antique store a few months ago.
These were purchased last week at an Estate Sale.  A set of 44 Johnson Brothers "Strawberry Fair" for $125.00.  They were made between 1959 and 1973 in England.
I'm in love! I have kept them on the counter all week now.  I just pass by and look at them!
I have a problem, I know!
 Dishaholic!
I finally put them away in the dish cupboard.
It's all decked out for the 4th too.
And so is Mr. Rooster.
I think this is one of my favorite tables!
Happy 4th of July!
 Have a brownie!
And a special thank you to those
who serve our country
 and keep us safe!

Until Next Time,
Beaux R'eves,
XO Cindy

I'll be linking up to these wonderful parties:

I think it's one of my favorites of yours, too, Cindy! This is super festive, and I love those fan thingies (I have no idea what they're really called!) hanging overhead! They really add a lot to the ambiance! Congratulations on your fabulous new dishes! What a wonderful find...something you can treasure and use for years to come for SO MANY different table settings!!! My husband has gotten the notion in his head that he "NEEDS" a funnel cake, so we will undoubtedly be off in search of a funnel cake stand at a fireworks display somewhere tonight. Sigh! I don't want to begrudge him...he gives so much and asks for so little in return in this life...but we're still under a heat advisory with temperatures still well into the 90s after the sun goes down!!! I can't take off enough clothes (without being arrested for indecency and blinding people!) to stay cool out there! We got up at the crack of dawn to grill our food for later today...and it was STILL hot out there!!!! Anyway, have a wonderful day and stay safe!!!

Your red and white transferware is just gorgeous! I know that feeling of "just passing by" to look at our pretty dishes and get a warm fuzzy. Your table is just lovely. I like how you stacked the patriotic cupcakes above the fresh blueberries and strawberries. Happy 4th of July!

Hi, Cindy. Great table! I, too, passed up a set of red transferware--at a great price to boot--at an antique store while traveling and I'm still thinking about those dishes, so now I'm on the hunt too! :) I love your WM finds, and the runner--I noticed it right away. I hope your 4th was fun. ~Zuni

Who among us isn't a dishaholic? I'd leave those plates out to admire myself. Beautiful! Love all the details you've pulled together. I bought those paper holders at WM too. Had planned to use them for the 4th, but then we ended up not hosting a party. So I'll save them to use another time. I think they are really fun.
