Can you believe that in a month it will be my one year Blogging Anniversary?
WOW!!!
I have had so much fun blogging and getting to know so many great bloggers out there!
Before blogging I would create tables for Holidays and take pictures for my files and send them to family and friends.
I'm sure they are happy now that I have a
more creative outlet!
Here is last years Thanksgiving Table...
It was a traditional table done in creams
and browns and golds.
I love the muted tones with my chair fabric.
I think that we were having a quiet Thanksgiving that year with only immediate family.
I'm
sure you have seen these wood chargers in some of my other
tablescapes. I bought them a few years ago at Stein Mart. The lacy
bone china is Lenox Opal Innocence with a Churchill "Vintage Game" salad
plate from Tuesday Morning. These plates reminded me of the Spode
pattern that I covet and dream about. The little squirrels are from Pottery Barn and of course they needed some acorns to gather so I had strewn them about on the table. I tied up a soft brown napkin with a sheer ribbon and placed it on the edge.
I love this picture!
I can see the sun setting through the window
in the Living Room.
The gold runner is just a remnant that I had left over from someone's drapes.
I can see now that the fabric and the candle holders from the grocery store and the lantern all repeat a diamond pattern.
I know that you have seen these lanterns a time or two!!!
I noticed that I did the exact same thing inside the lantern this year without even remembering.
They say your memory is the first to go...
Well, I guess you can't go wrong sticking a pumpkin inside on a candlestick with a grapevine on the bottom.
I'm still in love with that bird ribbon today!
Siver Stag candle holders from Tuesday Morning anchor the table on each end.
My Buffet was decked out in the Traditional colors of Fall.
My Turkey Platter always makes an appearance
this time of year.
He was passed to me by a dear family friend of my mother's. Sweet Bea knew how much I loved to entertain
so she gifted it to me.
A fall wreath tucked behind
really makes Mr. Turkey's feathers pop.
The coffee platter has been Fallen upon!
I remember cutting this branch in it's fall splendor.
I was so pleased when the colors stayed.
Last year was such a pretty Fall!
I hope you enjoyed my look back at Thanksgiving 2011!
Until Next Time,
Beaux R'eves,
XO Cindy

I am cheered that you took photos of your table prior to blogging. I never would have thought to do so. Of course I love the turkey platter. I have been searching for one at an estate sale but everyone I find is hundreds of dollars. The stag plates are gorgeous too. Can't wait for this years table from you.
Thanks for posting this, Cindy! Your table was gorgeous last year...do you have this years planned? Funny how we can mix pieces from PB with those found at the grocery store! Back in the day that would have been a no no! I love everything! I think I'm going to go with creams and browns this year. Have an pinecones I can borrow? ;-D
XO,
Jane
Love the deer plates.
Do you use the website Rue La La? They have two day close out sales via email. Today I noticed a pretty good sale on Spode Woodland Spode. You might check it out. Also, Woodland Spode is regularly available via eBay. If you start watching it, you'll come across some really good deals every once in awhile. Your Thanksgiving table is lovely. Thanks for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay
Wow, you are ahead of the game already thinking about Thanksgiving. I never even got very much done for Halloween! Guess I better get started or the season will pass me by.
Very, very pretty. I love the creamy colors and I especially love the lantern. I always have 25+ guests so doing a pretty table is out of the question. I try to create a pretty dessert table. Every other surface is covered with food. LOL
So pretty! Love your lantern centerpiece and the arrangement on the buffet is so nice. Love that turkey platter.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia :)
So beautiful Cindy!! The lantern in the middle is fantastic and we are so glad you shared this with us at Inspiration Friday this week!
