Shopping in Tulsa~Fabulous Design Finds

Hi Everyone!
If you read my post about the Charles Faudree Shop yesterday I had promised you more wonderful shopping finds.  I can't wait to share these two wonderful shops with all of you!  If you live near Tulsa do you know about these places?  They are both in an Industrial Area in nondescript storefronts but when you walk inside you are transported to another world.  The first shop is called Polo-Lodge Antiques.  It's kind of like the name implies.  Think Ralph Lauren, woodsy, lodge in the Adirondacks kind of style.
It was very dark in the store and the owner (who was a complete sweetheart) advised us to wait for our eyes to get adjusted.  When they did we were in for quite a treat.  Look at the display skills going on here.
I love this look for our home in Colorado.  I am helping my BFF redo her basement and this is the look she is after.
Is this a treasure or what?
The owners son is a hunter and they had numerous animals "hanging" around to add to the lodge look.
I love the mix of the floral lamp with the severe bust and the plaid throw.
Hey, I can do this!  Oh yeah, I'm DOING this!
Wonderful French Dresser with red and green ironstone dishes.
Simple rustic look with plaid and a buffalo check seat cushion.  Sigh, I can't wait to go up to our house this month.
The wonderful shop across the way was equally as Fab. GK Griffin Interiors.  It was more of a French Country style with a lighter tone.  Love this chair!  I'll take 8 please!
Hey, I have these turquoise dishes... what a great idea!  I think that's the Spode Woodland pattern on top.

Bundles of old book goodness!
Turtle shells in a dough bowl.
I love when they make lamps out of these tea canisters.

 LOVE!
What would you take home here?  How about EVERYTHING!  Unfortunately, we only had a few minutes to look around.  We had some pups to pick up!  We plan to go back when it cools off a little.  (and we are gonna rent a U-haul). Shhhhhh! Don't tell Mr. Beaux!
But how could I possibly leave this behind?
I did manage to make a small purchase.  He jumped right into my arms!

Hmmmmm, I think someone might be a little Jelly!  BTW, I forgot to tell you about my new rug!  I ordered a new Seagrass rug from Ballard and it arrived last week.  Just a little lightening up for Summer.  Hope you enjoyed those great shops!  As always thanks for visiting!  And, have a wonderful 4th of July!  We are just hanging around here working on the patio area some more.
Until Next Time,

Road Trip to the Charles Faudree Shop

Happy Monday Everyone!
On Saturday I went on a road trip to Tulsa and was able to visit the Charles Faudree shop.   The main purpose of the trip was to pick up a couple of rescue puppies with my BFF.  Her sweet little Westie passed away earlier this year and it was time to find a new pup.  As fate would have it, she found TWO precious guys in need of resucing; A Westie and a Scottie.  How perfect is that?
I have every book that Charles Faudree has written.
They are the Bibles of French Country design in my opinion. All of the pictures were taken with my phone so please excuse.  I feel awkward sometimes marching into a store
with my big camera!
 Enjoy!!!
I saw this table when I first walked into the store.
I loved the fabric covering and the nailhead trim.
This would be perfect for a table whose finish
 is less than perfect.
Here is another example.  I really want to try this now.
Beautiful painted chest.  The top is a faux marble.
 LOVE the hardware...
Want!
I'm making this my new screensaver...
Everything was so beautiful.
I didn't dare look at the price on this exquisite chair.
Sigh...

Homage to the Blue and White.
I don't know that I need this but I kinda want it anyway!
Look at this cutie!
Is this the French Country Disney version of the
 Pirates of the Caribbean?
He is holding the keys to the ???
Wine Cellar???
Here on this table were the ONLY things I could afford!  T
he cute little jars were $25.00 apiece.
I didn't buy anything but it sure was fun to visit.

And here are the two fellas responsible
for our little jaunt to Tulsa!
 Aren't they the cutest?
We were able to squeeze in two other antique/design shops that I am dying to show you but there were
too many pictures for this post.
So, look for them this week because they were both Outstanding !!!
Thanks for coming along on my trip
 to the Charles Faudree Shop!

Until Next Time,
Beaux R'eves,
XO Cindy
