Christmas at Tiffany's

Christmas Table 2011

I started with a swag that I found at Marshall's that had the pretty silver and Tiffany blue ornaments all intertwined.
This is my very first post on my Blog so bear with me as I learn how all of this works.  Setting up the Blog has been interesting.  I'm sure as I continue things will change and evolve, just like ME!!!

Here is what I have been working on this week...

I then interlaced a greenery swag down the middle of the table.

I added my Opal Innocence China on Silver chargers and a although I wanted to use my Christmas China that I bought at Macy's many years ago for a dollar a plate, (long story) I didn't want to break up the Silver and Blue theme. I ended up placing a bread plate from Opal Innocence on top.  You can see the wording around the rim but not the picture in the middle.

I added a cloche on each place setting with something different under each one.

The goblets belonged to my Great Grandmother.

Something wonderful under each one!
I recently picked up this gem at Tuesday Morning.

My centerpiece is a mix of faux and real flowers and greens in an estate sale silver wine chiller.

I am more than pleased with this years table.  What do you think?

I love using the blue with silver. You did a great job of putting it all together and resisting straying from your original idea. The fun thing about tablescaping is you can use your Macy's dishes next time!

Congratulations on your first tablescape blog, Cindy! You came out swingin'!!! I'm visiting from Susan's Tablescape Thursday. I love the colors. What gal doesn't like Tiffany blue? :-) I would love to hear the story, too, about the Macy's plates for just $1. ANY bargain story is a story worth hearing!!! I like the design on your table linen. Very pretty. The dishes are gorgeous, too. Lenox always produces such pretty patterns. How sweet and pretty to use your Great-Grandmother's crystal goblets! They look great on the table! Good luck to you as you grow with your blog! It's a lot of fun, and we never stop learning as we grow. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
