Whew!
What a busy weekend!
I hope you are all enjoying this Spring weather
and if you are still experiencing some Winter
in your area
then I am wishing some Spring your way soon!
I am SO excited to share my Master Bedroom
updates with all of you!
If you are following me on Instagram
or Facebook
then you might have had a sneak peek!
I had TWO special deliveries this weekend.
The first delivery came from Ballard Designs.
I ordered a new duvet cover and euro shams for....
MY NEW HEADBOARD!
The headboard was delivered on Saturday
and I couldn't wait
to get everything all put together!
I ordered the headboard from Pottery Barn.
I looked all over for a padded headboard.
I looked at my design centers,
everywhere online,
and at some furniture stores
before I took a leap of faith
and ordered the Gabriella headboard.
I love the nailhead trim and the wood frame.
The natural linen fabric
goes perfectly with the floors and the wall color.
I placed my new Estate Sale
chair at the end of the bed
along with the tufted bench.
Don't you just adore this toile bedding?
It is called Jardin Toile in Spa.
It is so soft and the colors are wonderful.
It has a light ecru background
although it looks white in the photo.
And see my tray at the end of the bed
from Decor Steals?
See, all of my favorite places are represented!
Ballard, Pottery barn, Decor Steals and Estate Sales!
I special ordered this sham from Ballard.
It has our initials on it!
AND, Mr. Beaux's are on
HIS side of the bed
and mine is on
MY side of the bed!
I paired it with two Battenburg lace shams from ??
You guessed it!
An Estate Sale!
I like the way that they all coordinate together.
I didn't want the toile to takeover the room
so I put a Matelasse cover on
and folded the toile cover
at the end of the bed.
Do you see my painted chest?
I think it looks better than I imagined!
Now, his side is masculine
and my side is feminine!
I am still working on a few details in the room.
I need new lighting, our fan is outdated and kinda ugly.
I did update our lamps with new shades.
I need some artwork for the walls
but I will wait until I find the perfect things
to hang over the chests.
The hardwood floors look awesome
but now I need a rug!
I put the full length mirror back
to take up some of the long wall space.
This is always a hard room to take photos in
because there is never any direct sunlight.
I took a lot of pictures!
I made everyone stay out of the room
so that it wouldn't get all messed up!
I mean EVERYONE!
Of course that didn't last for long!
The four legged people
think that the new bed is just for them!
Here is a link to how the room looked Before.
Until Next Time,

I love the bedding and the color! So soft and pretty. I think you are smart to wait til you find what you love for over the chests. Your floors are beautiful too.

ReplyDeleteThis is stunning, love the headboard and that table you did is a favorite of mine. Also the bench at the foot of the bed is gorgeous. Tried to pin this but I couldn't. Would love to use this for inspiration in the new house.

Your bedroom looks fabulous..I would expect nothing less..Ballard Designs and Pottery Barn...My favorites..Love that headboard..I've been thinking about changing mine but I don't think they hook onto my rails..I'd have to get a different frame..??

I love your new headboard and that gorgeous monogrammed pillow. Everything looks lovely, but those are my two favs.
ReplyDeleteThose pillows are definitely one of the finest! I saw different embroidery designs from my aunt and totally remind me how beautiful a bedroom is with handmade embroidery! The lamp, it’s adorable and classy!

Beautiful, classic bedroom. Love the pretty bedding - I've always loved the look of a fluffly comforter at the end of the bed. I do think it looks best with the four-legged members of your family - too cute!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing your room! I've been looking at a similar headboard and bedding, it's nice to see what they look like together. Your room looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful. I love the new bedding from Ballard. So pretty. Your headboard is beautiful as well. The room is really coming along. Good luck finding a rug - I just had my own rug mission come to a happy ending when I found the perfect rug for my living room.
ReplyDeleteWhat a surprise! I just picked up my King Gabriella from Pottery Barn this weekend and I'm loving it. I have cream matellasse with garnet & taupe paisley duvet cover from Restoration Hardware on mine. Now to get the courage to paint my oak furniture. I love your green end table - so feminine.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I love the choices you made in bedding, flooring, and that headboard is to die for! No wonder your little doggie wants to be in there! Thanks for sharing! Hugs, Leena
ReplyDeleteI love the monogrammed pillow sham and the side table is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou have got such style girl. I just love your room!
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful! I would just hang out in the bedroom all day long!
ReplyDeleteEverything is just beautiful!!!

Absolutely stunning. I will be featuring this tonight at my Winter Blues Wednesday party that opens at 8pm EST. Please stop by and pick up an I've Been Featured button. Thanks. http://diybydesign.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteIt looks beautiful, Cindy! I love your new headboard and bedding. Love the colors in the bedding. It looks almost like it would go with the Duck Egg chalk paint that I have on furniture in our bedroom. Good idea to wait until you find things you really like to hang on the walls. It may take a little while, but it beats having to try several things that don't work just to get something up there.
