I hope everyone had a
wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
I had a list a mile long
of chores for everyone to do!
As you know we are getting ready
for company this coming week
for Miss Beaux's graduation.
I can't wait to see everyone
and have some good quality family time!
We are sprucing up just
about every room in the house
and I am sorry that I haven't been able
to share all of it with you...
I am just running out of time
it seems these days...
But, I will share it all eventually.
Here is a little decorating
that I have done in the Master Bedroom.
If you remember,
I have been on the lookout
for some kind of artwork
over the end tables.
I spotted some pretty watercolor
pictures online while I was
looking at EstateSales.net.
I crossed my fingers
that they would still be there on opening day.
They are precious aren't they?
Scenes of Paris in gold frames,
what could be better for my room?
And the price was right too!
$25.00 apiece!
There was another set
that I liked also,
but they were much more expensive.
I added the silver tray
above each picture
to give it a little height.
This is Mr. Beaux's side of the bed.
The phone and the alarm clock
are on his side
but I remove them before I take pictures.
I usually stage the tables
for pics but I am just too busy!
Do you see another new addition to the room?
I hung up my Haviland China plates
on the wall next to my side of the bed.
I placed them all around the large mirror.
I hung this large flowered platter
in the center to balance everything out.
I want to show you more of the room
but you will have to wait until tomorrow.
I am working on a sewing project
that involves this fabric!
Now I am wishing
that my mom and older sis were here!
They are MUCH better seamstresses than I am!
Until Next Time,
Beaux R'eves,

Hi Cindy, I love your master bedroom. The blue is one of my favorites as well as buffalo checks!!! This has given me inspiration to change out my bedding and drapes for a lighter color for the spring'/summer. By the way, since mid April I have not been receiving your blog in my email through feedburner and have been going online to read them. Is there another way to get them to my email? Just wondered. Seems like the blogs in blogland that are sent by FeedBurner are all not working. Thanks for your postings....love the blog and anything French!
