Easter will be here soon!
I have been thinking of what
we will be doing on that Sunday.
Sometimes we go to Brunch.
I like Brunch
but when we go out it can be noisy
and crowded and I don't feel like
I get to visit with the family.
I don't think that I have ever cooked
an Easter Dinner in my life!
We always seem to do something midday.
So, this year I think we will take it easy
and have a relaxed Brunch at home.
I have been collecting Blue and White
things lately when I am out at Estate Sales.
I found these cute Buffalo Check napkins for a steal.
I've been wanting to use these Fleur dis Lis
napkins that came as a set with a small table square.
And can you believe
that I had these small juice cups
with a Fleur dis Lis?
I guess I know what I like!
Funny, how you are drawn
to the same things over and over.
I painted these eggs this past weekend.
I found a set of multicolored eggs
that I bought,
but of course,
I only wanted to use the blue eggs...
I painted white plastic eggs
with a combination of ASCP
in duck egg blue and some leftover paint
that I had in a robin's egg blue.
Then I speckled them with brown paint.
Which one of these eggs in the bowl
is from Michael's
and which one did I paint?
Mr. Beaux took these pictures
of the "Speckling" process.
He secretly wants to be a Blogger!
So did you guess yet?
Mine is the one on the left!
This is my new copper find!
I found it at an Estate Sale for $10.00.
Do you think I paid too much?
I didn't want to wait for half off day...
Look at how it shined up!
Flowers would look in it pretty too.
Here is another antique copper piece.
A friend gave this to me
when we first moved to Kansas.
See the cool measuring markings?
I think I'm ready...
Plates, bowls, napkins, flatware,
A little moo cow is of course needed,
along with a few white pitchers.
Brunch is served!
Now to plan the menu...
Until Next Time,
Beaux R'eves

Hi Cindy! Your brunch table is so pretty! Love those little eggs and you did a beautiful job on them too. The napkins, tablecloth, little glasses and of course that little cow creamer are just shouting 'Springtime!'
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Beautiful! I love the colors, the checks are such fun! A beautiful Brunch table!
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking the challenge !
Fabulous white stacks of china. I love all your estate sale finds especially the aqua and white check napkins. I love estate sales for each one is a always fun way to shop. A lovely way to dine is from your buffet!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week!
Pam
So I'm enjoying this new trend of stacking your table. The colors here are really sweet...
ReplyDeleteOh I love these colors! Those napkins and the glasses with the fleur de lis are my favorite. I am always caught up when I see that symbol too. Your table looks lovely and the eggs do too!
ReplyDeleteLove the blues! And that Easter egg is so clever!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are so wonderful on your table. I love the buffalo check napkins. Dianne
ReplyDeleteLove the colors and very cute post!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, love aqua and white.
ReplyDeleteI'm loving all of the fleur de lis and the robin's egg blue linens! Perfect for Easter.

ReplyDeleteLove the soft aqua and white combo of this table. It's gorgeous! I'd love to brunch with you anytime. '-)
ReplyDeleteVery soft and pretty, love the aqua with the copper, perfect table for Spring!!!
ReplyDeleteYour table is lovely...love those napkins and this wonderful color scheme!
ReplyDeleteCindy, love your table!!! Soft aqua must be the "in" color this spring, seen it all over Homegoods, these past weeks. I also noticed the "fleur de lis" on your plates too. Oh I so would love to go shopping with you someday....you find the greatest things!
ReplyDeleteCindy, I love everything on the table. I am partial to anything with a fleur de lis myself. I think your estate finds were a great price. Got to buy the pieces when you see them, Your eggs looks so much more natural than the store bought ones..great job!
ReplyDeleteLovely Cindy..Great color..Very springy..Matches my living room..
ReplyDeleteAwesome post! The colors are such a pick me up. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteLove your blog!
Your blue and white is beautiful! I love how you speckled the eggs - a perfect touch! I hope you all enjoy your Easter brunch. :-)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,

Your egg looks WAY more authentic than the Michael's one. Great job! And kudos to you for having the patience to actually sit there and create those eggs!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think you paid too much for the copper piece. Hey...if you don't want to risk it being gone, sometimes you just have to pay a little premium. I think of it as tipping to get a better table! :-)
Your husband AND mine secretly (but not SO secretly!) want to tablescape! They get into it, don't they? I think it's great when me take an interest in these things. I just don't like it when Ramon tries to override my decisions. I have actually come downstairs to find these rearranged to suit HIS vision! He's trippin'! :-)
The buffalo check napkins in that color are really pretty!
Stay safe and don't let this wind blow you across the prairie!!! Have a good weekend!
Ooohhh!! So pretty! Love the checked napkins and the little touch of the polka dot ribbon around your flatware. You did a great job speckling your eggs!! Beautiful Table!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite color - just beautiful. I see that others agree.
ReplyDeleteAlmost ethereal...just beautiful, and I adore the aqua. Thanks for inviting us for a peek. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteSuch a glorious shade of blue! And no, you didn't pay too much. The problem with waiting for the sale is that is could be gone!
ReplyDeleteI do hope you'll share this at Seasonal Sundays.

Lovely. I love the aqua!
ReplyDeleteYou had me at aqua and white. Your table is just beautiful, the aqua tablecloth, the checked napkins, the beautiful aqua plates with the Fleur-de-lis complete a picture of Spring beauty. I love it!
ReplyDeleteCindy,
ReplyDeleteExquisite!!!
This color palette calls to me more and more over time with its soothing qualities!
LOVE your Estate $ale finds!!!
Luckily, I did guess correctly on the eggs! Trust me, that never happens!
Gorgeous buffet, now what time, dear one???
Fondly,
Pat

So many pretty touches! Thanks so much for sharing!
Have a wonderful week and a Happy Easter,
Suzanne
Looking at this tablescape just makes me happy - I love the color and all of the various items you used to make it all come together!!! I especially love the pale aqua flatware - could you please tell where it is from?
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! I love the color, fleur de lis, dishes, copper...in short I love all of it! I don't think I've ever done Easter dinner either. My parents are in Florida that time of year, so we always have Easter dinner at my mother-in-law's. We have Easter breakfast at church before service. But who says I can't have Easter brunch on Saturday? I'd love to set a table as pretty as yours!
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Deborah
A beautiful table!
ReplyDeleteSherry
