Let me tell you How Much Fun a trip to the Dollar Store can be! I took my two Kiddos 25 and 15 last time I went and they had me literally peeing my pants! Something about the Dollar Store has them rolling in the Aisles. I hear LOTS of "Hmmmm, how much is this?" as they pick up an item and try to find a price tag. Unusual things end up in my cart like Giant Sunglasses, Rubber Duckies, Airhorns and anything to do with The Little Mermaid. (Miss Beaux has a penchant for anything Ariel).
Anyway, we were there to find Apartment goodies for my eldest and while I was there I picked up some Valentine Themed items.
I loved the soft colors of the Conversation Hearts that I bought and somewhere I thought I had seen something on Pinterest where the flowers were in a jar full of the hearts. But, when I looked back in my file I didn't see it! I must have imagined it or my poor eyes were just blurry from too much Pinteresting!
Can you relate?
Here's how easy it was:
I bought three vases at the Dollar Store ( I forgot how much they were, hehe).
And I placed a plastic cup inside and started filling it up with the hearts, varying the colors.
I tried the brighter colors but I only had my roses at the time left over from my "Isn't it Romantic" tablescape so I ditched these.
Aren't these funny though?
I like the High Heel and the Crown.
These were also a Dollar Store purchase in the small boxes. They were called
"Diva Hearts".
So, that's it!
Add Water and Flowers and display.
Makes a cute addition to your table decor or in a Vignette.
These roses have almost seen their last day...... Makes for interesting pictures though. I've been practicing a lot with my camera and editing programs to see what I like.
